Ms. Aditi Dixit

Aditi Dixit has been working as a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Human Development since May, 2017. She is also the Assistant Editor of the Indian Journal of Human Development. Her main areas of focus are political economy of development, informal labor, gender and work, and public policy. She is currently engaged with research projects on workers in the informal sector, including, time use analysis of women in rural Bihar, female construction workers in Ranchi, and informal labour in Solid Waste Management.

She was previously employed as a Programme Coordinator at the Foundation for Agrarian Studies, Bangalore. Aditi completed her M.Phil. in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Her MPhil dissertation was on the analysis of the Levels and Composition of Public Expenditures in India from 1960-61 to 2009-10.
