Marks Professor of International Studies and Professor of Economics, Cornell University. The first Distinguished Lecture delivered on 24 February 2006. The lecture was presided over by Professor Deepak Nayyar, Chairperson, World Institute for Development Economic Research, Helsinki & Professor of Economics, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
