IHD has completed about 300 research projects, including both conceptual and empirical ones. The empirical studies undertaken by it have been based on both secondary as well as primary data. In fact, the Institute has the experience of collecting primary data in most of the states of India, including remote areas like the North-east and the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
