Institute of Social Studies Trust (ISST) and Institute for Human Development (IHD) are organizing a two-day seminar on the theme ‘Women’s Work in Delhi: Dimensions, Challenges and Emerging Issues' from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on 17 – 18 August 2021.

The workshop aims to understand the multiple facets of ‘women’s’ paid and unpaid work, gendered occupational segregation, lack of upward mobility within the existing patterns of work and social security benefits in the informal sectors of employment in India with a special reference to Delhi. The workshop will focus on the barriers to women's economic empowerment and offer concrete suggestions to address these by working towards engendering existing policies and programmes.
