The Nowhere Children: A Study of Daily Practice and Hidden Concerns

Sponsored by the Indo-Dutch Programme on Alternatives in Development (IDPAD), this study investigates the issues relating to child labour and education. Based on primary survey—both quantitative (time-use) and qualitative—the major focus of the study is on finding out the complex issues relating to ‘nowhere children’ (who are neither child labour nor go to school). The study was carried out in collaboration with University of Amsterdam.
