Atlas of Child Labour

The portrayal of multiple dimensions of child deprivations across different regions of the country based on an extensive analysis of information from different secondary sources of data is undertaken in this project. Apart from calculations of deprivation indices for children with regard to survival, education, work, nutrition, crimes and so on, the atlas also addresses gender dimensions, special concerns of the physically and mentally challenged, poor, and disadvantaged children. The mapping of diverse dimensions of child deprivation for the country is undertaken even at the substate level, to the extent feasible, depending on the data sets. This project is sponsored by Save the Child, U.K
