Restructuring of the Unorganised Sector in India

Sponsored by the Planning Commission, the study finds out what has happened to unorganised sector employment, value addition and enterprise, and labour productivity. The study covers unorganised manufacturing, trade, restaurants, hotels and other lodging places, services, transport, storage and warehousing and communications in rural and urban areas separately, in 15 major states as well as in India as a whole.
