Changing Gender Relations and Women's Empowerment: NREGA Implementation in Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand

The NREG Act is especially significant as it mandates that one-third of the workers under the scheme be women. This study aims to analyse the impact of NREG on various critical aspects of women's empowerment. The study has been sponsored by UNIFEM.
