- 32 years of Professional Experience as Indian Administrative Service Officer responsible for discharging duties in progressive roles in the State (Assam – Meghalaya) and in Central Government (Government of India) in the spheres of Public Policy and Administration, Health and nutrition, Finance and Institutional finance, management of Planning and Development and Programme Implementation, Anti-corruption and Vigilance, Administration of Justice( Judicial) and Quasi-judicial positions, etc. His domain expertise lies in the field of Public Policy, Administration, Development Planning and Management and Implementation of Development Projects, Child Development, Health and Nutrition and Unique Identity (Aadhar) enrolment and authentication, FI, DBT system. More than 12 years of experience in Health and Nutrition related sectors and programs. 5 years as Joint Secretary in Government of India and nodal of Child development, Nutrition and early childhood care and education and women development. 5 years as Secretary, Health and Family Welfare in the State. Conceptualized and initiated numerous developmental programs especially in the field of Child Development and Nutrition under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, State Government and Direct Benefit and Financial inclusion in UIDAI (GOI).

Several publications relating to Development & Planning of Meghalaya (SDR, HDR, etc) and on Child Development and Nutrition.
- Currently an ICSSR sr. fellow and Joint Director, Institute for Human Development (IHD) New Delhi, an ICSSR recognized institution. Previously Director Eastern Regional Centre, IHD, at Ranchi since Jan 2019 to May 2021.
- Key works at IHD include ethnographic works, sever research concerning Ministry of Tribal Affairs, North-east region and Gender, Health and Nutrition related studies.
- Made at least 30 contributions in Government of India and Government of Meghalaya Publications and representation and contributions in more than 20 National International Conferences
