Events

IHD is actively engaged in dialogue on contemporary developmental issues for policy and academic research. Towards this end, it organizes seminars, workshops, consultations, and conferences promoting high-level debates and discussions. These events, organized in various parts of the country, are attended by a cross-section of well-known scholars, experts, social activists, development practitioners and policymakers. Several of IHD seminars and conferences have been inaugurated by prominent dignitaries including Presidents and Vice Presidents of India, Prime Ministers, and Nobel Laureates. The Institute has organized about 350 such events till date. In recent period some important national and international Virtual Conferences, Lectures and Consultations have been organized by the Institute
