The focus of this research is to understand the impact of technological advancements such as AI and automation, international compliance requirements related to sustainability and green production, and shifts in the broader socio-political context on the garment industry. The findings of this study aim to identify the challenges faced by both firms and workers in the sector, as well as to highlight areas requiring policy attention and institutional support.
