Overview:
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, commissioned the Institute for Human Development (IHD) to prepare the National Tribal Human Development Report. The report aims to document the human development levels and inequalities faced by the Scheduled Tribes (STs) in India and to formulate policies to bridge the existing development gaps.
Objectives: The research aims to document current levels of human development and inequalities among Scheduled Tribes (STs). It will formulate policies to address development gaps, drawing on national and international best practices and policies.
